Successful start of the new M9 line service between Esparreguera and Terrassa.

The new M9 bus line from DIREXIS TGO has had an excellent start since its launch on April 2nd. It connects the municipalities of Esparreguera and Abrera with Terrassa quickly and efficiently via the recently inaugurated section of the B-40 between Olesa de Montserrat and Viladecavalls.

During the first month of operation, the M9 line transported a total of 785 people, with an average of 37 daily passengers. Notably, April 25th recorded the highest number of passengers, with a total of 52. On seven days, we surpassed forty passengers, and on only three occasions, demand was below 30.

Although the demand was fairly balanced in both directions of the line, we observed that more passengers traveled towards Terrassa. Additionally, the morning hours accounted for 44% of the demand, while 22% occurred around midday.

These figures confirm the excellent reception from users in the three municipalities, thus creating a line that rapidly connects the two regions of Vallès Occidental and Baix Llobregat.
